  Pick Up & Proceed to Red Fort

  You will be picked up by a driver at the New Delhi Airport or another convenient place in New Delhi or Gurgaon to begin the full-day tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. The Red Fort is a collection of forts built by Shah Jahan, also known as Lal Qila, a Mughal emperor, in the seventeenth century. The fort served as Shahjahanabad, the new capital of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, in the walled city of Old Delhi (as it is now).

  Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid)

  Visit Jama Masjid later; it is a stunning haven of peace amidst the chaos of Old Delhi. The biggest mosque in India is perched 10 metres above the surrounding commotion. It has a mind-blowing capacity of 25000 people. Shah Jahan’s final architectural achievement was the “Friday Mosque,” which he constructed between 1644 and 1658 out of marble and red sandstone.

  Raj Ghat

  Continue visiting Raj Ghat to see where “Mahatma Gandhi,” the nation’s father, was cremated.

  Qutub Minar

  Continue on to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, after that. The 75-meter-tall Qutub Minar is a fine example of Afghan architecture made of marble and red sandstone.

  Humayun's Tomb

  Visit Humayun’s Tomb, another location that is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, to continue your tour. Humayun, the second Mughal king, was buried in this mausoleum

  India Gate

  Visit India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhawan after your time there. In 1931, the India Gate Memorial was constructed as a monument to Indian soldiers. You’ll afterwards be dropped off at the New Delhi Airport or another convenient New Delhi/Gurgaon location.
